The EL500AZ uses a multi-step filtration process to leave your air clean, breathable, and smelling great. It comes with four carbon pre-filters (one year's supply) to help eliminate noxious odors. The true HEPA filter eliminates 99.97% of dust, debris, dirt, and allergens all the way down to the 0.3 micron level. The filter is also washable, allowing multiple uses without having to purchase a replacement. The final stage of filtration uses patented PlasmaWave technology to eliminate smells and odor-causing bacteria.

Additional features include a full-function remote control that allows you to operate the unit from across the room and a filter indicator light that lets you know when it's time to replace the filter.
